ABOUT OUR TRAINING CAMP
United States Soccer Prospects is proud to host its fifth annual competitive summer camp in Montgomery Texas as we pride ourselves in the youth we have developed. In recent years we have developed players from Qatar, Mexico, Colombia, South Florida, and from other local youth clubs in Montgomery County who have tried our program and loved it!
These sessions are focused on developing the individual player first as we design a program to prepare them to become a team player. All training sessions are created to empower every athlete to become the best version of themselves. Any soccer player that puts in the most time on the ball will be the toughest player to beat on the field.
We coach our players in hopes to inspire them and develop our youth - but most importantly to develop a culture in our local community so that every child may have the opportunity to choose their pathway.
Training begins the week of June 21st - July 31st. All players are expected to show up early for check-in.
Training will begin at 6:00 PM and end at 8:00 PM, please ensure your child is ready for pick up at 8:00 PM. If you are running late, please notify the staff!
Parents must stay in their vehicles or watch from a safe area so that players are not interrupted during training sessions. Children will be dismissed and will wait under the U.S.S.P. Soccer Tent at the fields by the gravel parking lot for pick up.
Academy Summer training is open to all players wanting to participate or join a team.
The U.S. National Research Council recommends 8 to 10 eight-ounce glasses a day. Another way to calculate the right amount is to divide your body weight in half (using pounds), then drink that many ounces. And listen to your body.
Make sure your child has the appropriate running shoes. NO street shoes/Convers, NO basketball shoes, etc.
Make sure your child brings the proper cleats needed to play soccer. Baseball cleats are prohibited, Football cleats are prohibited, any cleats that have metal studs are prohibited.
In its most crucial role, sunscreen protects your skin from the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays, which come in two forms – UVA and UVB rays irrespective of seasons.
outdoors is a great way to protect your hair, eyes, and skin from the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays. While you still need to slather your skin with a broad-spectrum sunscreen that protects against both UVA and UVB rays, a hat can help give added coverage for the skin on your ears and neck.
Your child should carry their own bottle of hand sanitizer to make sure they are sanitizing their hands before, during, or after training.
